What may be holding you back from your weight loss success?

Are you thinking about starting exercise after being away from it for years or never exercised at all?

I am fortunate to help lots of women who are starting their fitness quest after a long period without it.

There are a wide variety of reasons or shall we say excuses why women choose not to exercise.

Most decide to start or get back into it because they see changes that they don’t like and the aging process is not helpful either!

Excuses such as:

  • I thought I would just wait until I finished having all my children.
  • I never needed to exercise because I was always thin and could eat whatever I wanted, until I turned 30!
  • Work was too busy and I could never find the time
  • Too exhausted looking after kids all day
  • Too tired from work and home routine
  • Husband gets home too late etc, etc

The list goes on and on…

The thing is, we all come up with excuses as to why we can’t exercise but if you have a big enough reason TO exercise, then all the excuses in the world will never stop you. I have seen girls smash their excuses and get their results with a simple formula called consistency and work.

The best thing to do is focus on the WHY. If something is important enough to you, you will move mountains to achieve it.

An example of this consistency is Rachel. She started an 8 week challenge with us after having had a baby 7 weeks before. She set herself some realistic goals to get fitter, start running again, lose weight and tone up. She trained 5 times per week or more and had a no excuses mindset. Of course she achieved her goals and was proud of her achievements but she didn’t stop there. She was determined to set new goals and she completed another challenge.By the end of the 2 challenges she had lost an impressive 65.3 in girth measurements , 16.8 kilos and 13.1% body fat bringing her very close to her ideal weight. Another added bonus was closing her Abdominal Separation (Diastasis Recti) of 3.5cms to 1.0cm by attending Pilates for 4 months. Rachel is now loving her new lifestyle and is embracing the fitness and new body she has achieved by the simple formula of consistency and work.

When is the right time for you to start and stop with the excuses!
