As I was restricted with what I could participate in, Michelle helped set up an exercise program that was for me. Pilates and Personal Training, once a week. Throw in a Saturday morning (7.00am start) and all was good. Mind you still restricted in what exercises I could do on Saturday. Pilates helped with the strengthening of my core which has helped with my scoliosis (was seeing a Chiro every 4 weeks, now I have it down to every 8 weeks)
The fact that I haven’t exercised properly for a very long time (hate gyms), this was what I needed. Michelle took me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to liking exercise again.
Salty processed foods and sweet biscuits is what I craved when I first joined this program. My challenge was to give up both!!!! No way I thought. One step at a time….salt was the first to go. Haven’t had chips, BBQ shapes etc since I started this challenge nine weeks ago. Still crave salt, but to curb that craving I have a very small handful of peanuts. Love my Tim Tams, but if I wanted to see results I would have to say goodbye to those as well. My sugar cravings are replaced with fruit and the occasional 70% cocoa chocolate square.
My goal in taking on this 9 week challenge was to lose 20kg, become fit and healthy. To this date I have lost 12 kilos and 52.5cms off my body, enjoy exercising, but most of all have changed the way I look at food. Healthy raw food is the way to go.
I can say I sleep soundly through the night, follow clean eating, and exercise.
This was well worth the money.
